CEO & Managing Director

Mateen Chaudhry

Mateen’s career in investment banking involved him working for JP Morgan, UBS and Deutsche Bank in senior front office positions in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. After banking, he set up a real estate business with one of the largest private owners of mobile home parks in the USA. He raised $50,000,000 of equity capital for the business and managed the investments. He sold his stake in 2019, after he moved to Australia.

Mateen has a passion for entrepreneurship and was one of the first investors in a tech incubator in Los Angeles in 2015. Since then he has raised money for, invested in, and helped countless start-ups with oversight and operations.

He is a British national and an Oxford University graduate.

James Dick

James is an institutional investor by background. He has deployed over $10 billion in capital in his capacity as Head of Alternative Assets with the Queensland Investment Corp (QIC) over a 12-year period. The investments ranged from incubators, private markets, real assets, derivatives, foreign currencies and listed markets.

Academically, James has a background in economics and has previously served on the Central Council of the Economic Society of Australia and as President of the Society in Queensland. James is a Fellow of FinSia and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He is an Australian national and a University of Queensland graduate.

Nat Rowe

Nathaniel Rowe’s professional advisory experience spans marketing, management consulting and law in New York, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. He has represented clients on a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and project and structured finance transactions across multiple industries and markets.

Nathaniel is a former Japanese Ministry of Education scholar and has worked for Japanese companies and institutions. He advises on Japan-related transactions in Japanese.

He is an Australian national and a University of Sydney graduate.
